If you haven’t heard of the GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS by now you must not have been living on the same planet as me. Do you get as upset as I do about the negativity of it all? All the doom and gloom the term implies attempts to destroy any optimism you otherwise might enjoy.

I am by nature an optimist and even though others may attempt to convert me I have access to the knowledge that allows me to turn the tables on them. That knowledge inspires me. What’s more I willingly share it with you.

Just as we all know dark clouds bring rain but when the storm has passed the sun comes out and once again the garden flourishes. Right now we are in the middle of that storm. This is the time when we should be fertilising our ideas so that when the sun reappears we can enjoy the fruits of our acquired knowledge.

We all know that the personal computer has, via the Internet, made available an unprecedented extent of information. Just typing a word or two can access almost any subject. And it is that simple action that opened up my world when I attended the World Internet Summit. There I heard from numerous speakers who had done that and more. The basic message they all conveyed was that if they could succeed so should you!

Listening to Armand Morin, we heard first hand how his Internet marketing principles have generated $25 million for his business alone. But not only that, he has taught tens of thousands of ordinary folk just like me, how, by implementing his strategies, success will come. Yes the sun will shine!

Have you noticed how the Internet is constantly evolving. First there was simply the written word, now we have video and audio. That was the subject covered by Mike Stewart. How to make your own “infomercials”, accepted as being one of the most successful marketing tools for any business.

However one of my favourite presenters was Tracy Repchuk – “The newbies coach”. I could relate to her because she once was a newbie, just like me, sitting in the audience at a World Internet Summit. Now she is an award winning writer and teacher on internet marketing. She has inspired me to emulate her. I’m on my way. No GFC for me just KFC – Kind Fun Company.
